Tina Guziec has been the visionary behind several of the nation's most trend-setting residential projects as well as the driving force behind the organizational development of a wide spectrum of newly formed business projects across the country. As a residential real estate designer and developer, Ms. Guziec’s expertise is creating value from under utilized and under performing assets. In her various roles inside some of the country's leading Real Estate Development firms, Tina directed the space planning, interiors and design development of projects in major markets nationally including Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Miami.
As the Managing Director for The Kachadurian Group, Tina managed the project and design development for a variety of national clients as well as the development strategy for The Kachadurian Group portfolio. In her work with Chicago-based MCZ Development dedicated to building urban infill loft projects, Tina managed a $1.6 Billion project portfolio creating the spaces and concepts that drove the success of the company.
Twice in her career she has implemented design and development plans for the largest residential conversion in the country - once in the Fulton River District of Chicago (a neighborhood she marketed and renamed while reconditioning key loft buildings in the area) and a second time on Miami's Biscayne Bay at the famed 1680 Unit South Beach gem, The Flamingo.
In her 25 years in Real Estate Development, Tina has managed the simultaneous daily operations of more than 2000 residential apartments and condominiums. Tina offers an on-the-ground, in-the-trenches, hands on experience in design, construction implementation, building management and project management which relies on an ability to create a distinct lifestyle for each community to ensure the optimal mix of residences, retail components, services and aesthetics all within a sustainable budget. Tina leads large teams of project professionals; architects, designers, creative teams, real estate brokers, and financial consultants to create and meet schedules and budgets that achieve creative lifestyle communities.
A graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Tina has been nominated for a three Stevie Awards honoring achievements for Women in Business. Tina is the author of Urban Loft: How Chicago Re-defined the Architecture, an examination of how the Urban Lofts that she designed impacted Chicago's unique character and is reflected in its own version of Loft.
